What can we see in 2010? The great news is that in spite of the economic downturn, the 2010 US Tour schedule will have a full schedule of 41 events. For the third straight season, the schedule will feature 37 standard-season events and four Playoff Series events to choose the FedEx Cup champion. The Fall Series events, which follow the Tour Championship (the FedEx Cup finale), have yet to be announced. “We are really pleased to announce our schedule through the 2010 FedExCup season,” commissioner Tim Finchem said in a statement. “Regardless of hard economic times we as soon as again have a full slate of events.” The PGA Tour have also announced that they won’t be tinkering with the FedExCup’s points program. … Read entire article »
